Mukun Acharya, NCAC, INCE, ASA, APS

Mukun Acharya has an academic background in Physics and leverages his strong analytical and technical skills in the fields of architectural acoustics, environmental noise modeling, vibration analysis, and mechanical system noise control. Since joining Stewart Acoustical Consultants in 2019, he has worked on projects across various sectors, including energy, industrial, higher education, and commercial. In this role, he has developed detailed environmental noise assessments and SoundPLAN models to assist in design and compliance decisions.

His expertise includes conducting field measurements, performing acoustical analysis, and testing in accordance with ASTM standards, such as E336, E1007, and E2964. Mukun frequently evaluates HVAC noise, conducts airborne and structure-borne sound transmission studies, vibration measurements, and assesses community noise for complex building and infrastructure projects.
